Privacy Notice

Access Covid is a binational collaboration between the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF), funded in part by the UCMX Alliance. Participating in the project is the Department of Biomedical Informatics of the Faculty of Medicine of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, with address at Avenida Universidad 3000, Circuito Escolar s / n, Ciudad Universitaria, Delegación Coyoacán, Ciudad de México, C.P. 04510, is the obligated subject and responsible for the processing of personal data collected by this entity, in accordance with the provisions of articles 6, base A, and 16, second paragraph, of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States ; 3, fraction XXXIII, 4, 16, 17 and 18 of the General Law on Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Obliged Subjects; 2, section VI, 4, section IV, 9, sections V and XI, and other relative and applicable of the Regulation of Transparency and Access to Public Information of the UNAM, published on August 25, 2016, as well as the Internal Regulations of the Faculty of Medicine. The personal data collected will be used for academic, statistical, and administrative control purposes.
At all times, Access Covid must have the authorization of the holders of the information, to use this data solely and exclusively for justified institutional purposes, and in accordance with current legislation, without providing it to third parties. Personal data may not be transferred or processed by different people or people outside the UNAM.
The information must be provided voluntarily by the owner of the personal data after reading and knowing the Privacy Notice. Through a free letter submitted to the Transparency Unit of the UNAM and by any means, the owner may express his refusal to process his personal data for the purposes described in this Notice and the transfer of data that require his consent.
The owner 1 of the personal data has the right to know what information the UNAM has, what it is used for and the conditions of use given to it (ACCESS). Likewise, it is your right to request the correction of your personal information if it is outdated, inaccurate or incomplete (RECTIFICATION). Similarly, you have the right to request that your information be deleted from the records or databases when it is determined, based on the law, that it has been used improperly (CANCELLATION), as well as to oppose the use of your personal data for specific purposes other than those indicated in university legislation (OPPOSITION), that is, ARCO rights.
