An assessment was conducted on the UK NHS platform. They evaluated the number of reported cases of post-vaccination myocarditis and pericarditis based on adenovoritus ((ChAdOx1) or based on messenger RNA (BNT162b2) or covid cases with severe respiratory symptoms. They found that there were between two and six cases per million reported in vaccinated myocarditis patients, which was a much lower risk than the cases reported in patients with covid (40 per million), to which arrhythmias and pericarditis were also added, which they did not find in patients with vaccines, with except for the messenger RNA vaccine in the second dose (mRNA-1273), finding the greatest risk in patients under the age of 40. Therefore, it should be considered that this type of vaccine is not recommended for young people.
