Through an observational analytical study which included 440 participants between 21 and 65 years old, who were health professionals. A questionnaire is carried out on the use of PPE by health workers, their skin symptoms and prevention and management methods. The Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) is used, in which it is interpreted as; 0-1 points = no effect, 2-5 points = small effect, 6-10 points = moderate effect, 11-20 points = very large effect, and 21-30 points = extremely large effect on the patient's life. Skin problems were 90.2%, with the most common being dryness, itching, cracking, burning, scaling and lichenification. They are located mainly in the hand, the fingers of the hands and the palms of the hands, with acne presenting in 44 participants (10%); there was a higher incidence of skin problems in women than in men. The limitations of the study were that skin symptoms were subjectively determined and could not be assessed by a dermatologist.
