This review compiles the findings of 25 articles presenting patients with Kawasaki Disease-like syndrome during the COVID-19 pandemic. Kawasaki disease is one of the medium-sized vessel vasculitides, which only affects children and although no identified etiology can concisely explain this disease, some hypotheses considering that viral infections such as the coronavirus family act as a trigger in genetically predisposed children. Recent studies have shown that several children diagnosed with COVID-19 have developed symptoms such as prolonged fever, bilateral conjunctival injections, changes in the lips and oral cavity, cervical lymphadenopathy, limb changes and polymorphous eruption, these children have more severe symptoms than they are attributed to a worse clinical outcome and require intensive treatment and close monitoring.
