Association of Acne with Face Mask in Healthcare Workers Amidst the COVID 19 Outbreak in Pakistan

Through a cross-sectional study, a group of 348 health workers was interviewed, taking from among them only 193 according to the inclusion criteria, of which acne was prevalent in 103 (53.4%), with a maximum of cases reported in female health workers and physicians (p<0.05). Similarly, it was shown that the interviewees who used the N95 mask, which were 73 participants, 43 (44.7%) had acne (P = 0.036).History of acne and oily skin type were more likely to relapse as well as new breakouts. The cheeks (45.1%), followed by the nose (40.9%) were the most affected areas.
